His gentle pulse, like a metronome

all these years

Like the rhythm of the Ocean Waves on the shore 

This Divine pulse out of sync with my squirmy self

My metronome in counter

It's JUST ME

Unsure Unsettled Frenetic 

Like the chaos of the waves in an Ocean Storm

How do I sync my metronome to the Stillness of Peace of His pulse?

Ps. 37:7 Be still in the presence of God and wait patiently.

Ps. 16:10 Be still and know that I am God

Mark 7:39 When Jesus woke he rebuked the waves and said to the waves Be Still.

Ex. 14:14 The Lord will fight for you, you need only be still. 

Is. 57:20 But the wicked are like the storm tossed sea for it cannot be still. 

2Chron. 20:17 You need not fight this battle . Take your position and stand still. Do not be afraid or discouraged. Go out and face them, the Lord is with you.
